En contrepartie, l’été, quand on a de la chance, on en profite, on sort, on croque la vie. Cette année, cette période, d’un été prolongé, commençant depuis les jours chauds du printemps, fut remplie de belles opportunités d’exposer mon travail et d’échanger avec d’autres artistes, avec des amateurs d’art et des collectionneurs. J’ai commencé ce réchauffement avec plusieurs expositions pop-up avec Art-Cible, à l’Atelier Galerie 2112 à Montréal. Art Cible est une organisation à but non lucratif qui organise des expositions collectives, favorisant les rencontres et les échanges entre artistes et amateurs d’art. Celle-ci fut ma troisième fois participant avec ce groupe et j’ai pu partager l’espace avec l’artiste visuel François René. Dans cette opportunité, il a fait une installation avec des œuvres en techniques mixtes sur coton qui façonnaient l’espace jouant avec la transparence et l’opacité ainsi qu’avec l’utilisation d’un magnifique bleu outremer. I live in the Old-Montreal for almost fourteen years now. During all these years I had the chance to discover one of Montreal’s institutions that has been here for more than 24 years. It’s Olive + Gourmando, which is a charming and well-known for its quality bakery, café and restaurant. This year, O+G has opened a Holidays pop-up store, presenting, and selling some of their own products and a selection of local, original, and interesting products as well.
