PORTAL MONTREAL - AN ART SHOW BY RAW ARTISTS CANADA

This fall, I have been hand-selected by RAW Artists Canada to participate in one of their events that took place last week, on Friday November 18 at the beautiful Théâtre Paradoxe in Montreal. 

RAW Artists Canada has as their mission to serve independent artists with tools, resources, education, and exposure needed to thrive and succeed in our creative careers. In their own words, they are not your average art show, they are loud, colorful, creative, and all about our artists. 

This was a fantastic experience that gave me the chance to network and make amazing new connections with the community of artists from Montreal and across Canada, and with lots of people that attended this event, including familiar faces and new collectors.  

I got also the chance to be in someway sponsored by Olive + Gourmando (which is probably the best coffee shop in Montreal) and by GR7 Architecture (a great design and architecture firm with whom I work for several years). Having this support means a lot for an artist!

If you supported me or if you attended this evening, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Cet automne j’ai été sélectionné par RAW Artists Canada pour participer à l’un de leurs événements / expositions qui a eu lieu la semaine dernière, vendredi le 18 novembre au Théâtre Paradoxe à Montréal.

 RAW Artists Canada a comme mission d’aider les artistes indépendants avec des outils, des ressources, de la formation et de l’exposition nécessaire pour développer et avoir du succès dans leur carrière et démarche créative. Dans leurs propres mots, ils ne font pas d’expositions standard, mais ils sont plutôt solides, colorés, créatifs et axés principalement sur le travail des artistes.

 Ce fut une expérience fantastique qui m’a donné l’opportunité de faire du réseautage et de créer de nouvelles connections avec la communauté d’artistes de Montréal et du Canada, ainsi qu’avec plein de gens qui ont assisté à l’évènement, incluant des visages familiers et de nouveaux collectionneurs.  

J’ai aussi eu la chance d’être d’une certaine manière commandité par Olive + Gourmando (qui est probablement le meilleur café de Montréal) et par GR7 Architecture (une super boîte de design et architecture avec qui je travaille depuis plusieurs années). Le fait d’avoir ce support compte énormément pour un artiste!
