EXHIBITION IN MONTREAL (MAY 2022)

In french and in spanish an exhibition is an ''exposition''. As this word says the artist's work is exposed as the artist's person themself as well. So, here I put myself out, hoping my work resonates with some of you. It has been already a month since then and I could not be happier about the experience. 

My first solo exhibition La línea el cuerpo, took place from the 12th to the 14th of May 2022 in Montreal.

 I presented acrylic drawings and paintings, in different formats, on paper and wood panels. This body of work has been focussed on expressing the emotion of the being, through the human body. The lines are an essential part of the construction of my drawings, as they are the masses and voids as well.

Sensitivity, strength, softness, movement, and stillness are often part of the visual universe of my work. The emotion, as a beneath-the-skin inspiration is often present in my compositions, I try to put some beauty inside-out.
